I bought the "Street Rod" motor mounts from MTS.
Using any type of stock biscuit mount would have resulted in the engine sitting too high in the
chassis. The through bolt in the MTS mount will bolt into the rear of the front cross member
with a plate added to the rear for additional support.
This plate will
have to be bolted in rather than welded to facilitate getting the mounts in and out. I was
somewhat disappointed in the quality of the MTS mounts. They required a lot of fitting to get
them to even bolt to the block.
