1930 Ford Coupe Top Chop

After bracing the inside of the car with what looks like a crudely constructed jungle jim we started marking and cutting. Most of the cuts were made with a speedecut, a 6" carbide cutting wheel that's about 1/16" thick and mounts on a 6" grinder.

Finish cuts were made with a pneumatic saws all where necessary.

Sam and his buddy Kevin lifted the top off and set it on the floor. We were all surprised to see how rigid the top stayed.
