I cut out the recessed section of the quarter panel where the comb shaped trim was originally attached.
I made a patch about one inch larger than the hole and bent it around the air compressor tank since it had about the same curvature. Then I sprayed the panel with Dykem and held it in place from inside the hole with magnets. Next I scribed the patch around the hole and trimmmed it to fit.
