I don't like how the stock A's and 32's trunk hinges just attach to the edge of the trunk so, I traced a set of hinges on a Westcott body and made some similar to them. My brother, Sam, plasma cust the basic shape out of some 3/16 scraps that he had in his shop. I used a grinder to get them a little closer to shape and then a belt sander for final shaping. Then i drilled a bunch of holes in them and bent a 90 degree bend in the end where they bolt to the trunk lid.
The hinges pivot on a tube that attaches where the tulip panel bolts to the quarter panels.
